Who is Bwana Jim?

Bwana Jim is an experienced animal handler filled with enthusiasm and an outrageous wit. He presents the craziest and most educational wildlife show ever seen. After seeing the show you will be talking about it, too.

With over 25 years as an animal handler, Bwana Jim (who is actually Jim Moulton) and his wife and fellow handler, Linda Moulton, travel the world presenting their unique wildlife show. Bwana Jim specializes in reptiles such as snakes, alligators, and turtles, and other animals such as armadillos, wallabies and exotic birds.

Bwana Jim has a rare gift for handling animals and shares his knowledge in an incredibly fun and entertaining way that is more memorable than any classroom experience.

Visit our Wildlife & Nature Center

Our goal at the wildlife and nature center is to provide a home for exotic animals that people are no longer able to care for, and to educate the public. So stop by and see Bwana Jim and his animal friends and take a walk on the wild side.

The 'Old Red Schoolhouse' Wildlife and Nature Center was purchased in November 1999. The building is the former Sharon Center School, finished in 1900. It is now home to a variety of animals that've been given to Jim and Linda while traveling with their wildlife show.

You'll also be able to visit the Wildlife Gift Shop where THUMPER the crazy cockatoo will be to greet you. You'll be able to find exotic animal t-shirts, nature CD's and cassettes, stuffed animals and more!

“The TLC 1st and 2nd Graders had a wonderful time visiting your nature center. They are still talking abut everything, and can't believe what great things they did and saw. Keep up the good work!” - Linda Hoover
